Christ Chapel Food Pantry
The Food Pantry provides emergency groceries to families and individuals. We offer a variety of nonperishable food items, as well as basic hygiene items. Without prejudice, we assist members of our church, local residents and the Acts Shelter. The food is given free of charge to help families through difficult periods and there is no pre-qualification process; however, we do ask everyone we assist to complete our benevolence form.
All of the food in our Food Pantry comes from donations by individuals. There are monthly church-wide food drives, but food donations can be made year-around. Examples of items accepted by our Food Pantry Ministry include cereal, pasta sauce, peanut butter, tuna, canned fruits and diapers. Donated items can be brought to the church Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and left for Alice Jackson or brought to the Information Center on Sundays.
While we take Food Pantry requests Monday through Friday, the Pantry only distributes food on Tuesdays and Thursdays, by appointment only. Please call ahead of time and setup a pick-up time before coming into the church.
If you need groceries, please call the church @ 703-670-8481 and ask for Alice Jackson.
